Bringing IoT to Life: Hackathon Houston

A three-day hands-on hackathon focused on your real-life IoT ambitions. Bring your own concept (and even your own team, if you’d like) or pick from our concepts. Building Windows IoT devices, connecting to Azure Services, this event will include technical training, extensive hacking time, access to SMEs, and IoT hardware for you to use. Meals will be provided free of charge.

Preference will be given to developers who propose their own concept and to those looking to bring a Windows IoT device or application from concept to production.

Who should attend

Developers, software engineers, and architects who want to bring an IoT concept to production, either now or in the near future.

The Hackathon is free for qualified attendees. You can request an invitation via this page. Microsoft will select the best candidates to fill the seats available.

Getting started, technical education content, form teams, set up environments, planning.

Day 2

Hacking with SMEs available. Hacking your team’s app to a POC level.
8:30AM - 5:00PM

Day 3

Hacking to completion. Team presentations.
